Viviane Chetrit- Vatine, PhD is a training analyst for adults and children. She is the current president of the Israel Psychoanalytic Society (2022-2025). She was also the IPS President from 2008-2011. Dr. Chetrit-Vatine was the chair of the scientific committee (2004-2006) in the Israel Institute of Psychoanalysis. She is a faculty member at Tel-Aviv University at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Programs, as well as a member of the international Reading Committee of the Revue Française de psychanalyse, and a member of the Monographies de Psychanalyse International Scientific Committee Research Center of Psychoanalysis. Dr. Chetrit-Vatine is an associate researcher at the Paris VII Diderot University (CPRMS) and the author of The Ethical Seduction of the Analytic Situation, towards the feminine maternal origins of responsibility towards the other (PUF, Le Fil rouge, 2012, Karnac/IPA pub, 2014, Routledge, 2018, Magnes Ed, Hebrew University Pub. 2019). She is also the author of numerous papers published in the Revue Francaise de Psychanalyse, as well as in the International Journal of Psychoanalysis.
